The venerable firm of Duty & Duty, Attorneys at Law, was founded in 1911 in Rogers, Arkansas (USA), by John R. Duty and his brother Claude J. Duty. It has been passed down through two more family generations to the current owner , Mr. Davis Duty, who has been the sole proprietor since the death of his father in 1999.

Mr. Duty has over 60 years experience in the practice of law and over 50 years experience in Social Security law, including 10 years as a Federal Judge for the United States Social Security Administration. The practice is now limited exclusively to Social Security Disability, including Supplemental Security Income.
The US Government pays Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits to disabled adults and certain family members if they’ve worked long enough before becoming disabled and paid enough Social Security taxes.
The US Government pays Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits to disabled or blind people with low income and assets, even they already receive Social Security Disability or retirement benefits.
Mr. Duty has been licensed to practice law in Arkansas since 1960. He’s also licensed to represent clients in the Federal district courts in both Arkansas and Oklahoma, the United States Circuit Courts of Appeal for the 8th and 10th circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
